GPM Solicitor is proud to have been associated with the leading charity, Cure Leukaemia, since its inception. This charity supports, by financing research nurses there and elsewhere, the Haematology Centre at Birmingham’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.  By doing so it has speeded up the process of ensuring life saving drugs are given to leukaemia patients in this area.  Put simply, there are many people alive now because of the work of this charity in conjunction with the amazing expertise available at a hospital which serves not only Birmingham but a much wider field including the full extent of the Black Country.

The charity was involved in the setting up of the current Haematology Centre which is now 10 years old. The photograph shows some of the patients doctors nurses charity staff and supporters celebrating the achievements of the Centre. The work needs to be expanded and the charity will play a central role in raising the £3,000,000 required.

Later this week some 200 riders will be setting out on a London to Paris bicycle ride as part of the fundraising. We send our good wishes to them all for the trip of a lifetime. Our commercial and corporate law expert Kevin Jones has been involved with this charity since the outset and says “It has been a privilege to work with people of such vision, enthusiasm and commitment.”  We support this charity in a number of ways and if you wish to help please simply look at the charity’s website at www.cureleukaemia.co.uk
